The LPSA-MASTERSIZER 3000 used the technique of laser diffraction to measure the size of particles range from 0.01µm to 3500µm by measuring the intensity of light scattered as a laser beam passes through a dispersed particulate sample. This data is analyzed to calculate the size of particles that created the scattering pattern. |
