| 2 | Details of Instrument: | The MD00084 AUTOPOL IV Polarimeter used to measure the angle of rotation caused by passing polarized light through an optically active substance in a sample. There have six discrete wavelength selections range is 365nm, 405nm, 436nm, 546nm, 589nm, and 633nm. The wavelength selections used to observe the effect of wavelength upon an optically active substance such as flavour, fragrance, starch, lactose, essential oil, pharmaceutical, sugars and other optical active compounds. |
